This year we didn't trick-or-treat, we handed out the treats. This year I had them hand out their Halloween candy that they accumulated over these past couple days and small decks of cards with disney characters on them. We had so much fun dancing around to our Halloween CD that someone "Boo'd" us with in between handing out the goodies. Spiderman is here to save the day!!!These two cute people were such good 'passer-outers". Tinkerbell!!!!...in a costume that is way too small for her, but she was proud because she dressed herself. Go Rylee!Jon was at work again and we missed you again! WE LOVE YOU!

Ward Halloween Party
Our ward teamed up with Folsom 4th ward for a chili cook off, spook alley and trunk-or-treating fun. I really love this event because it's safe trick-or-treating and it's fun to see people dressed up and see how creative people are with the trunks of their cars. Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Nick joined us. It was also nice because Jon took of a couple hours of work to be with us as well! We miss you lover! For Rylee - costume change #5,000! Love my cutie pies!
Town Center Trick-or-Treating
This is the first of lots of candy to come. Since Halloween is on a Sunday this year the Town Center (our shopping center) handed out candy on Saturday. We even went through their Haunted House, which was pretty scary for my little ones. Luckily we had a good fairy escort us through and "turn off the spooks". The kids have dressed up so many times this week I can hardly keep track of all the costume changes! Today they were the Fire Fighter and the Bumble Bee!

Dance a visit
Today the girls got to dress up for dance in their Halloween costumes. Usually its just pink tights and a black leotard. I totally forgot to dress up and she went as a...well, a ballerina. Their teacher has been having them practice like crazy for the Christmas Benefit. They are doing a ballet number to the song Jingle Bells.Rylee's cheer leaders!! We are looking forward to watching the recital!Since we haven't seen Jon since our vacation earlier this month Jon missed the kids and invited us to the station. The kids were so excited! They haven't visited him at the station in a long time.We love and miss you our handsome hero!

Family Home Evening
Our family of pumpkins from left to right: Taylee, Jon, Rylee, Me, & Brody.Jon has been working a lot lately so we decided to carve pumpkins early. I know they will be soggy and moldy by the time Halloween rolls around, but at least we were able to do them together.

Blake's Football Game
We ventured to Napa to watch one of Blake's last football games. It reminds me so much of Jon. It was rainy and little Taylee fit right into my jacket!! Sing with me, "Baby it's cold outside, I really can't stay, Baby it's cold outside, I have to go away, Baby its cold outside".Rylee loved watching the cheer leaders and dancing to the music. She was fun to watch too. Great job Blake! It was fun watching you out there!

El Dorado Hills Senior Care Village
Today we had the opportunity to visit the elderly and hand out candy to them. Our sweet friend Kristin organized this for the kids to do a reverse sort of trick-or-treating. Here is the Queen and the Fire Fighter. The seniors sure appreciated seeing all the kids in their cute costumes. We sang the Itsy Bitsy Spider to the residents. At one point one of the demented residents tried to take Brody outside for a walk. Needless to say, she was not allowed outside. The funny part is that he was going with her willingly. On the left are Kristin's cute kids Sully and Izzy.Kristin had quite a turn out. Here all the kids who helped hand out treats to the seniors.

Bishops Pumpkin Farm
After gymnastics we ventured out to Wheatland to this pumpkin farm. There are so many things to do and see. The kids had a great time. Jon had just gotten off work so he was a little lacking for energy, but the kids made up for it.There was also bales of hay for the kids to play in and a play structure shaped like a train.Rubber ducky racing?Train! We also took a miniature train ride around the whole farm and tasted pumpkin butter and fresh pressed cold cider, which tastes like you are biting into an apple.Old Tractors everywhere. It doesn't look like she minds being behind bars.Petting and brushing the animals.Taylee is a super trooper, easy going as can be.Hum, where is that perfect pumpkin? What a long day. Time to go home.
Gymnastics again...
Just an update. Rylee is doing awesome in gymnastics! I love Brody's face.Rope climbs!Go muscles go!
