Luke Skywalker vs. Princess Leia

This was so silly we had to take pictures. Remember those light sabors we got at the State Fair?

Well, it was Luke Skywalker,vs. Princess Leia.Well, it was time to put them to good use...in a duel.It was a toss up.

Clear Lake

The Glenn's were nice enough to invite us to their cabin built by Tony himself. Brody and Rylee had so much fun with Sydney and Ruby.It was a smelly time of year to go because the alge was overgrown and dying. Check out the green wake behind us.Brody and I had a long day and night. I think he preffered his own bed at home compared to the one on I made him on the floor.Love the sleeping babe snuggled in his blankie. This is their first fishing experience which is usually slow and boring...BUT they actually caught a fish! Jon let it go because it wasn't very big and we didn't have a fishing license. But, what a great end to a fun time with new friends.

Swinging Fun

It's been great that Jon has set up our own little playground here at the house. The kids always want to be outside which is great. I love it when they swing because you can see it in their faces how these "G-forces" can get to you. They are pretty fearless.

Our Little Fish

Rylee learned last month at a 4th of July pool party how to offically swim without a floatie! We are so proud of her. It is so cute watching this tiny little thing get out onto the huge diving board and jump.Being on the sidelines, I wait holding my breath. She then emerges out of the clear blue taking in the biggest breath she can and then does a silly dead mans float on her belly. The first time she did that I was so scared, then she pops her little head out of the water and doggie paddles to the side. Uttery exhausted she climbs out of the pool and wants to do it again. I love their silliness together.

"Pink, no make it blue"...sponge rollers

Since I come from a family with lots of girls my mom made sure we were nothing short of girls when it came to dressing up for church.Saturday night my sister's and I would all bathe, and my mom would put pink sponge rollers in our hair then go to sleep in them. When we awoke the next morning our head would be sore, but we'd look so darn cute!I had to test it out on Rylee's hair. Too bad her hair is short, so the ponytail thing didn't workout. The minute Sleeping Beauty's head hit the pillow she wanted those things out. Her head couldn't take the pain of pure beauty. But that's ok. She doesn't need the sponge rollers to be beautiful because she is wonderful the way she is.

Tap Dancing

Oma got Rylee these tap shoes a while ago and they finally fit.Not only do they fit Rylee, but Brody as well.Since Jon has installed our new floors, they have been slipping and sliding around and making lots of noise!
