San Diego Part 5: Old Town San Diego

We went to Old Town San Diego to see the Mormon Battalion Center, eat mexican food and taffy, and get a feel for the roots of San Diego. The old houses here are so cute and the grounds are kept so nice.Sweet baby man.And the "lil angel". Thanks Oma for the cute dress!Here is the family on the olden day RV being powered by oxen. Ha ha!This was a tour of what it was like to be in Mormon Battalion. It was a fabulous presentation with talking pictures, an interactive video and various rooms decorated like the places they traveled.We are honorary members of the Mormon Battalion.Time to pan for some gold! Yes we're RICH!!Now Brody's turn. GOLD!Binoculars on the top of the Mormon Battalion Center. Lots of fun things to see......like the freeway and cars...Wonderful Oma was visiting as well.
