Just goofing around

Can you tell the kids got a hold of the camera today? Seriously I don't know what it is about pickles, but my girls love them. They will probably blow a hole in their stomach some day from a pickle ulcer, but until then I guess I will need to buy the "Club" and put it on the jar lid to help regulate them!!

Father's Day Talent Show

I don't remember why Brody is asleep in our bed, but I'm assuming it had something to do with a bad night. This is a rarity because we don't let the kids sleep in our bed with us. This is because we have a QUEEN bed and there is "no room in the inn". I usually will make the kids a comfy bed on the floor next to me if something happens. Anyhow, back to today. Today is Father's Day and the kids wanted it to be special for Jon so we made him breakfast in bed (on the Special Day plate, of course) and then Brody accidentally turned on the radio on my alarm clock and the kids started to dance. So we had a family dance party (all members included), followed by a family dancing talent show. The kids took turns dressing up and dancing. Jon decided they couldn't be the only silly ones in the house so he dressed up and showed the kids his moves. We were all rolling on the floor with laughter. I got video and pictures of it all, BUT Jon did the downloading of this set of pictures on purpose so he could delete the ones of him so there wouldn't be any proof to show. Needless to say, but yes, I was mad. Now on with the show!

Watersliding with the Wilkins

We love having the Wilkins right down the street! With six kids in their family, someone always wants to play! Today Jon had them all over because it was finally HOT and they had a blast!! Jon was Mr. Mom for a day and a half while I was at Girls Camp backpacking with 32, 13-14 year old girls. I was their certification leader in charge of the hike portion as well as certifications. We hiked the south side of Sly Park. The trail was beautiful. I really enjoyed myself and all the girls seemed to have a wonderful time. I couldn't have done it without the help of the 3 other leaders and 2 dads who came along. Jon had such a great time with the kids that he didn't even notice Rylee's new haircut performed by herself! The first thing I said when I came home and saw Rylee was, "I see you cut your hair". Jon then replied with, "I knew there was something different about you!". Cracks me up! We had a good laugh with that one! All jokes aside, Jon is truly the best babysitter there is!

Cousin Max's 3rd Birthday

Boy was it cold that day! We had brought down our huge waterslide and the kids were daring enough to go, once. The month of June has been making some unusual weather. Earlier this month it as snowing! Confusing! We all had a great time complete with a pinata that my kids CRIED at again. They love giving it a whack, but when the candy hits the ground they loose it. It all turned out happy in the end as it usually does. Happy Birthday MAX!!

Center Stage Dance Recital

Unfortunately we were not able to take video or still pictures of this performance. She did AWESOME and is the best in her class! She did her tap dance to the song, "Lolly Pop". SO CUTE! Rylee is third from the left on her knees in the first row.

T-Ball!

Can I say, ATHLETE!!! Brody just finished a T-ball camp which was 4 weeks long with one 50 minute practice per week. Jon was his parent helper and did a great job. They both enjoying doing something together. Brody was so awesome! He learned how to run, warm up, hit the balls off the T like a champ, learned the names of the bases and in which order, how to "alligator catch" and throw the ball into a target. The girls and I had so much watching them out there. The last practice they had a little practice game. Brody is also a good listener despite is clowning around. Brody loves teasing Jon and it's so fun to watch Jon's face laugh. Brody is very silly and makes us all laugh so easily! Great job Brody Man we are very proud of you!!!!

SNOW!!!!!

It snowed again! We've been having some great luck this year with weather. Can you believe that this happened in June? CRAZY TOWN!!Rylee loves being a big help in with Taylee. She truly loves her. On this cold day she wanted to feed Taylee. I love watching when the kids want to serve each other and their parents. They are wonderful people.
