We had such a great time tonight at the music in the park! We met up with friends and ate pizza and listened to a fun band while the kids ran FREE! Here is what they were most excited about all night...face paint and tattoos. Jon stood in line with them all evening and got their face painted right before it all ended. Unfortunately we had to come home and wash it all off so their pillows were not black the next morning.

Taylee's 2nd Birthday!
Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Dear Taylee, Happy Birthday to you! Cha-cha-cha, HI-YA! We love you so much and you have grown into such a wonderful little girl. You can talk a lot and can do so many things that your other siblings can do. You think you are so big like them. We love you so much and we are so grateful you are a part of our family! Thank you Seema for making the cake pops! They were wonderfully fit for our little princess! Thanks to everyone who came and made it a special day for her!
Proscenium
This was a mini Seussical Musical! This was so fun to watch! Rylee was the sour kangaroo and I did her costume. She looked and did the best! So proud of you Rylee and all your hard work!

Horseback Riding
Today Kathy Ashby took the kids for the evening while I got things together for Taylee's birthday party. She took them to see Taylor's horse named Daytona. The kids had such a great time and they were so brave. I love Taylee's face when she first got on.
Mother's Day Tea
Today I was blessed to be able to send the three younger kids to a friends house while I went by myself to Mother's Day Tea at Rylee's kindergarten class. This was a special day for Rylee. She even made her own t-shirt on the computer. The directions told her to color a picture, print it out and attach it to a black shirt. She did just that. She had colored, printed and taped it to a black shirt. (Little did she know it was supposed to be an iron-on. But she did her best.) She was very proud of it as was I. When we got there they sang 3 songs which made us all cry. I cried because I reflected on how she used to be my first baby and it was just her and I in the world. Now time has flown and there are more in our family. But there is something special about your first. I used to hold her all the time and stare at her while holding her during her naps. Now she can hardly fit on my lap and she doesn't take naps. I know that she is and will continue to be such a great example to the rest of her siblings. I never thought growing up how children could be such great examples to their parents, but they are and SHE is. I always want her to know that she is a daughter of God and that she can do anything she puts her mind to. I love you Rylee and thank you for serving me at Mother's Day Tea. It was a very special time for me to be just with you. We need to do that again sometime!

Stake Conference
Today was Stake Conference and I decided it would be fun to have a little picnic in the park across from the temple grounds. It was nice to relax in the cool breeze of spring in the shade and watch the kids just run. There is always such a calming and peaceful feeling when near the temple. I am grateful for temples and the peace it brings to our lives.

Taylee
Taylee loves to get into these old toys of hers. It cracks me up that at one point these toys were meant for her AND that she actually fit in them. Well, since she is still a peanut she kind of still fits. This is another Taylor who got all dressed up for a little princess party at her house for our kids. They had such a great time!

Hunger Games
Look at what the kids and Jon found while lizard hunting. I'm so glad I married a hunter/gatherer kind of man. We'll never be hungry!
