Rylee recently went over to a pajama birthday party. One of the parting gifts was a Sleeping Beauty mask to wear at night. She has worn it every night since that party. Jon and I get a kick out of it because she is so serious about wearing this thing to bed. Here they both are sleeping soundly.Under the blanket, Brody's hands are down his pants like Al Bundy. True boy.

"Silly Guys"
Brody's favorite saying these days is "silly guy". Why Jon and I get such a laugh out of it, we don't know. But I just want these two to know how much fun we have with them and how much we love them...and their "silly guy" attitudes.

Ski School
After practicing at home a couple times, Jon decided Rylee was ready for the white stuff. We drove up to Sierra at Tahoe and put her into their ski school for a little experience. Since she is so young, they have extra stuff to do like snack time and a bounce house on the snow.
Here is Brody not too happy about being separated from Rylee. We attempted to play in the snow and that didn't last long.A little nervous...
Ready, set, go!!!
The next Lindsay Vonn!!
Brody asked for Rylee the whole time she was gone. We tried watching her from the lodge, yet Brody pooped out. Sweet thing.

Home Ski Practice
Jon decided it was time to teach Rylee and Brody how to ski. He borrowed Dave Hollingshaus' skis, put them on the kids and pulled them around on the carpet. They had a blast. Though the skis are too big for Brody, he loved it anyways.
Jon being silly as usual..."silly guy"

Happy New Year's
Oma rented a cabin in North Lake Tahoe again this year and we had a great time. We sang Mom a christmas song to thank her for all her hard work with us kids and grandkids. Here goes...remember to sing to the tune of Jingle Bells:
Dashing here and there,
Not for yourself a care,
To L&D she goes,
All those screaming hoes,
Open legs to check,
The Dad is on the deck,
What fun it is to be a nurse,
Yet the doctor takes the purse!
Oh San Diego, Utah, Fremont,
Send a kid to school,
Babysit and clean the house,
Will Saddie stop shedding, GROSS?
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas,
We love you so much!
How'd you like to take a skip,
For a Washington State Trip!
It was fun getting outside and playing in the snow with the kids.Rylee tackled Brody and he wasn't too happy about that.
Bedtime with Aimee the story teller. The boys Max and Brody could care less. They were digging through wallets and wrestling on the bed.
It was fun having a bath tub in the bedroom for all the kids to swim in. It had jets that scared a few and excited some others.
Here is Brody, Rebekah, Leah, Rylee and Emily. Where's Max?
There he is!
Sledding was a lot of fun and it was just right down the road. Rylee was so brave that she was going down the hill by herself. The most fun to watch was when they would make a train down the hill and fall!
Rylee's looking for snowballs to throw at Jon and Dan!
Thanks Oma for a great time at the cabin and all your hard work!

Happy Birthday Emily!
Emily Bradley turned 2 today! All the family got together at Aimee's house for some pizza, cupcake cones and togetherness. Here is a picture of Lillian and Brody. He was so sweet with her. I thought he'd want to poke her eye out, but he just wanted to kiss her. That gives me hope for when our new little one comes in May.They also played in the two bounce houses outside in the freezing weather. Once again, they don't care as long as they are having fun. I thought it was ingenious of Aimee to connect the two with a blow up matress. I wish I would have taken more pictures of all the girls watching a movie and scarfing down their cupcake cones. It's hard to remember a camera when you're enjoying the moment.

Merry Christmas!
Have a Merry Christmas! We are so very grateful for this time of year and look forward to our new addition due May 13th, 2010.
Love, Jon, Kimberly, Rylee, Brody and...baby girl
Christmas Day
I loved getting together the stockings and carrying on the tradition my Mom started of getting everyone their favorite cereal. During the year I only get Cheerios, so this is a real treat. Rylee chose Golden Grahams for Jon, I chose Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Rylee chose Fruit Loops, and Brody chose Cocoa Krispies.Stocking time!
OO! A huge Dump Truck from Oma with Matchbox cars. Love the blankie.
Jon and I got Rylee a princess necklace and braclet making set, which she picked out herself and couldn't wait to open it.
Crazy morning hair, I love it. Rylee is studying her new gigantic barbie doll house, thanks to Grammy and Grandpa Nick and her Barbie RV...let's go camping!
Jon and I got Brody a tool set.
Grammy and Grandpa Nick got Brody the Sit and Spin.
Brody riding in the dump truck.
Rylee then changed into her play clothes and was ready for the day. She calls this shirt her Crossfit shirt. I wonder if it's because Jon and I have black Crossfit Centurion shirts we like to wear.
Thank you Nick and Kathy for spending the morning with us. And Jon, thank you so much for making us a wonderful delicious breakfast!

Christmas Eve
This was so much fun for all of us! Aimee and I got the Bradley's and the Rudnicki's together for a night full of entertainment. When everyone got there we had a great big feast.
Thanks to all the hands who helped and attended!
After dinner the girls all played dress up, as well as Brody! He was dying to put a dress on and Aunt Christie helped out.
Where's Max when you need another boy?
Then the excitement began. We played name that tune with Christmas songs, boys against girls. Needless to say, girls won. I can't remember the last time we all got together and laughed this hard...together.
Then I told the story of the true meaning of all the Christmas symbols.
Aimee told the story of Jesus' birth.
Then we sang Happy Birthday reverently to Jesus and had all the kids blow out the candles.
It was so wonderful to get everyone together. Let's do it again next year!

Oakland Temple Lights
Aimee and I planned a trip to the Oakland Temple to see the lights. Most of all our other family members met us there. Every year they decorate the temple grounds for the season. It was so beautiful to just be there and have all the kids run around. It was wonderful to be able to go through the Visitor's Center with Jon's family to experience how meaningful and precious life here is on earth, and that it just doesn't end here.
