Oakland Temple
Temples are such a wonderful thing. You feel so good by just being on the grounds. They keep the outside as beautiful as the inside. I guess they should since it is the house of the Lord. Once again we took the tour through the Visitor's Center and watched the video on the family. Afterwards we walked the top of the temple. It wasn't quite clear enough to see the Golden Gate bridge, but we were able to see the Bay bridge. What awesome structures we have built today. It was interesting because while we were there, photographers were taking pictures of newly married couples...which is not the interesting part. But here were also other photographers that were taking pictures for some girl's quinceanera. These girls had on gorgeous colorful dresses with a whole entourage. It looked like a wedding party yet the bride was under age, and in a colorful not modest dress. It was interesting that they chose the LDS Temple to take their pictures. The grounds are beautiful. Now off to Fenton's Creamery for some old fashioned ice cream! YUM, thanks Jon! Nothing beats the black and tan!

Alameda County Fair
Brittany and I took the kids to the Alameda County Fair and it was hot. We didn't see much because we really didn't know where anything was and we didn't stop to see if there is a map of the grounds because we particularly didn't care. We did see some birds for sale, the model train display (awesome) and Rylee and Brody road a couple rides. From afar, the kids could see other kids bouncing on trampolines and going really high in the air. So we had to try them out.
Rylee getting psyched up to go.Strapping in...
...and up up up she goes! She's so high and she loved it!Brody anxiously awaiting.Brody getting all strapped in.He kept on saying "higher, higher". He loved it.My sweet little corn dogs. And a carousel ride again.
Britt, we had so much fun with you guys and Taylee did great!

Stand Up Paddle Board
Jon has been anxiously awaiting this new toy and it finally arrived! Jon's first day off of work we had to try it out. It is so relaxing out on the water. It is called a Stand Up Paddle Board. It is like an oversized surf board that you stand and paddle on. Jon's is 12 feet long. What a relaxing way to spend the afternoon on a man-powered mode of transportation.
Rylee catching some air into Folsom Lake.Sing with me, "Everybody's gone surfing...surfing USA"!Silly guys! Thanks for the fun, Jon. I love you three!

5 Weeks Old
Finally starting to hold up your head a little and staying awake! Gotta love these milestones. You sleep so much that this is unusual for me. Rylee and Brody wanted to be awake all the time and they were happy when they were awake. When you're awake, all you want to do is eat and go right back to bed and if you don't get to go right back to bed in a dark quiet place you are a mess.So cheers to lots of sleep, you are definitely a product of Jon.

Happy Hollow
Today Oma treated Aimee, Jessica, Renee, Brittany and I with all of our children to Happy Hollow in San Jose for some fun! It is a kids amusement park complete with rides and a big playground. Rylee and Brody loved the train roller coaster and they were brave enough to ride it together without me! They just wanted to keep going and going and going. No amusement park is complete until they have a carousel ride. Poor Brody chose an animal all by himself so he got lonely and cried and they had to stop the carousel to let him off. The brave little princess smiles through it all! This is Danny the Dragon...the character of one of the rides they went on.

Happy Birthday Max!
Brody was in "Thomas the Tank Engine Heaven" from the time he got that invitation from Max to come to his train party. He wouldn't put the invitation down for 2 whole days. It was so much fun! They had a pool party complete with cake and a pinata! Someday Rylee and Brody will not cry when the candy bursts out and actually run to get it. Maybe if it was filled with broccoli or cauliflower they might jump for joy and their primal instincts will take over and they will "hunt and gather" it quickly!!
Cousins!
We came into town for Jake's baby blessing given by Dan. What a wonderful experience for all of us to join in on. It was wonderful because all of our family was their minus Tommy, who is away at school. Here are all the cousins minus the babies (MJ, Jake and Taylee). From left to right:
Brody Rudnicki, Max Skubal, Lilly Montes, Leah Bradley, Chilly Poulton, Rebekah Bradley, Rylee Rudnicki, and Emily Bradley.

Doll or Baby?
We visited Oma recently and she has a doll stroller that the girls always fight over. Since Taylee is so little and looks like a doll we decided to test her out in the doll furniture.Beautiful baby doll.

Bath Time
Taylee is on her own schedule, as most infants are. She is a sleeper, unlike Rylee and Brody. So I decided to get her on the kids schedule. I forgot that it meant that we do everything together..."awake time, playtime, naptime, and bedtime". Finally! They can bathe together and it puts them all to sleep easily at the same time. I think this is going to workout just fine.Oh they are the cutest.

Sundays
I think sundays are our favorite day of the week. This is all because of church. I am so grateful that we have this gospel and are constantly reminded of the important things (that truly bring us joy) here during our short existence on this earth. I am so grateful for my family and the opportunity to be a parent. There are so many learning experiences that come with having a family. Jon and I recall having Rylee and talked about how hard it would be to share this love with another child. My mom taught us a great lesson, "Having multiple children does not mean you now need to share your love, but that your love will grow tremendously beyond measure". This is true. I'm so grateful for...
- Rylee,- Brody,- The sibling love between the 3 of them,- Having the opportunity to choose to come to this earth, and be able to learn and grow,- And my husband Jon, and the opportunity to share all these experiences with the love of my life.
