Today we got to watch Rylee in her school parade. Look at how dark it is outside. The kids picture was taken just before we left for school. EARLY! Rylee didn't want to be Mirada after seeing the older girls dressed as a baby. So a baby it was and she was so proud to look like one. The kids are so CUTE! Love them all dressed up! I also got to help out in Rylee's class for the halloween party. She was so excited to have me there and I loved seeing her and how she interacts with all the other students. She is such a sweetheart! I love you Rylee! Later that evening we met up with the Sweyds, Hakalas and a bunch of other people we didn't know for some pizza and trick or treating! The kids were more worried about staying with the group than they were about getting candy. That's easy, except we were the ones urging the kids to "Come on, just one more house"!

Goodwill
Today we went to Goodwill as our last resort to find footy pajamas for Rylee's "baby costume" for halloween. I searched everywhere and prayed they would have it. She had her heart dead set on being a baby. Low and behold they had one pair of footy pajamas in her size!! Tender mercies, prayers were answered. And while we were there Brody and I found this wig and sang..."duh, dih, da-da-da-da, duh, dih, Afro Circus, Afro Circus...". Thank you Madagascar 3! She looks so cute!
New Toy
You may be thinking to yourself "Is that a new toy for Brody?". Well, you are most definitely WRONG. That is a new toy for the Brody's older brother, Daddy. This is what Jon will be using in his next WOD (workout of the day). I guess it will be call something like "tire sledge hammering"...or..."sledge hammering a tire"...or..."try not to let the heavy sledge hammer get ripped out of your lifeless arms on the last set of your sledge hammering WOD". I don't know, but I think I could be wrong. Brody sure is proud to be next to it though!

Britlee Baby
Britlee Pauline is most certainly an angel baby. She was born with a smile, eats with a smile, and sleeps with a smile...catch my drift? She loves life and greets everything and anybody with a smile. I hope this never ends. I just want to squeeze and kiss her all day long! Things you can do right now are:
- army crawl
- smile
- stand very erect in my arms
- smile
- eat blended up real food
- smile
- go to sleep by just laying you down (NO feeding to sleep! Can you believe it? I can't. I did not teach this...maybe she will self potty train one day...wouldn't that be nice.)
- smile
- babble
- smile
- sit up
- loving the bath and splashing all around
- smile
- suck a pacifier like an addict
- smile
- sleeping all the through the night (Which started when you were 3 months old, no one else ever did that!...Yep, I'm convinced she will self potty train.)
- smile
- smile

Gymnastics Fun
It's been a while since I have posted about gymnastics. Brody is now in a "Hot Shots" class and loves it. It is the more progressive side vs. the recreational side that is just for fun. He is learning round offs, back handsprings, and circling on mushrooms etc. Rylee is learning to do bridge kick overs, round offs, and handspring vaults (onto mats). I love watching these two out there. Who knows how far they will go, but Jon hopes they stick it out long enough to learn how to do "a cool trick like a back flip". We'll see about that. Oh ya and Taylee can hardly wait for her turn. Until then, she is the best spectator and cheerleader!

Rainy Day
I love the rain. There is just something about it that makes me want to curl up and slow down. I guess if it was this way all the time I wouldn't feel the need to slow down. Sometimes I feel like I move in fast forward constantly and always anticipating someones next move. So today I am grateful for rain and the slow mood I'm trying to be in. It was nice because we got to LMNO early and happened to have the camera to take pictures with. These were after we had dropped off Rylee at school.

LMNO Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
Today we visited the pumpkin patch and it was fun. The kids got a special tour with a hay ride and an educational portion about corn, sheep, chickens, eggs, pumpkins and cows. They even got to take home a mini pumpkin. Brody's new buddy is Joaquin. They love hanging out with each other!

Utah Trip
Jon and I decided to take a trip to Utah to visit new baby Travis Poulton, visit the BYU campus, gymnastics coaches, BYU football game, dinosaur museum (amazing!) and see a session of General Conference. The whole weekend was so much fun. It makes me want to move to Utah. I love the weather and the scenery. Maybe someday.
