It was a clear sunny day and we decided to head up the highway to find some snow. We ended up at Sly Park where it was just frigid.
Jon and I brought our snowboarding gear to keep warm and we dressed Rylee in her pink and hot pink snow clothes..."My colors are blush and bashful mama".
This was Rylee's first experience with snow. She was a bit timid at first because of the unstable ground. With every step she took she would say, "Sinking, Sinking etc". (Oh, there's Brody in my GUT!)
You couldn't miss her because her outfit could be seen from a mile away. She reminded me a lot of the movie, "A Christmas Story". She was part "deranged Easter Bunny" and the little brother who could bearly move in the snow because his mom laygered his clothes so much. Jon and I couldn't help from laughing the whole time.
Jon then taught her how to make snowballs and they had a snowball fight. Rylee won, of course, though Jon got a few good shots in as well. 
We had a great time!!! Rylee is always ready to go back!!!
Here we are at the park just having a little fun. I guess it wouldn't have been so cold if we hadn't gone in the black of night. Oh well, we had fun none the less!!!
